The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon’s uncertain fate in the on-going Orange African Cup of Nations continues as they laboured to narrowly beat lowly rated Zambia 3-2 in the second Group D match. Jacob Mulenga put Zambia ahead before Geremi exploited a mistake by Zambian goalie to level up for Cameroon. Captain Samuel Eto’o then made it 2-1 for Cameroon before Christopher Katongo scored from the penalty spot to level up for Zambia. Finally Mahamadou Iddrisou’s header secured the 3-2 victory for the Lions. Group B sensation Azingo Nationale of Gabon earned a vital point in a 0-0 draw with Tunisia in the other match to brighten their chances of advances to the next stage of the competition.
